Peter has over 40 years experience in the profession (he obviously started as a young boy) and enjoys the personal contact with all his clients. He is a Chartered Accountant, CPA, Member of the Taxation Institute, National Tax and Accountants Association and a Member of the Financial Planning Association.

Peter is married to Kerry and has four delightful daughters. He keeps fit working out with the Galeforce Running Squad and attempts to run in such classics as the City to Surf, Bridge to Brisbane and the Gold Coast Marathon Festival. His personal best times remain undisclosed.

Peter has seen the business cycles more than once and is there to assist clients with all their business needs.

Donna began working for Peter as a graduate in early 1998, holding a Bachelor of Business majoring in business law and taxation. She is now a CPA with comprehensive experience in accounting and taxation.

Donna enjoys working for Geraghty Accountants because she has the opportunity to develop close client relationships. She appreciates the ‘family style’ environment and loves the new office as she is able to bake cookies and cakes. Aside from cooking, Donna loves to watch and play sport, particularly touch football.

She has experience with the following software packages; MYOB, Quickbooks, Handi Soft, Simple Fund, E-record and Excel.

Donna’s areas of experience include; ATO Returns (Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts, Super Funds), Business Activity Statements & Instalment Activity Statements, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, Building Services Authority renewals.

Brenden is a fully qualified accountant with many years of experience. Brenden graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has since then undertaken the further study to become qualified as a CPA. He has been working with Peter since 2000.

Brenden’s areas of expertise include small business accounting & taxation, superannuation and not-for-profit audits. He has experience with most of the popular accounting software packages and he also acts as the office handyman and food critic.

Brenden is married with two children.

Karyn graduated from the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business. She continued her studies to obtain CPA qualifications. She worked in Roma and Toowoomba before joining Peter in Brisbane in 1996.

Karyn has experience in small business, superannuation, accounting and taxation, as well as audit of self managed superannuation funds and non for profit entities.

Karyn enjoys tennis, bike riding and camping.

She is married with two daughters. She enjoys the challenge at home as well as the office. She appreciates the flexible combination of part time work and being involved in her daughter’s local school – one block away from our office.

Belinda is our indispensable office manager. She keeps the team punctual, organised and supplied with coffee and tea.

She has a degree in shopping, our needs are her desires. She keeps fit jogging and loves spending time with her family.

Belinda is married with two children and enjoys combining part time work with family life.

Di is our new office manager and is enjoying working with a great group of foodies who are footy-mad (she is trying to not hold that against them!) She loves the perks of the job such as taste testing all the Abbey’s cakes and muffins. She is quickly learning the ropes at Geraghty Accountants, including some intensive training by Belinda and Donna on the finer points of bargain shopping.

Di is married with 2 children and loves camping, boating, bushwalking and kayaking with her family. She is enjoying the new challenge of juggling family life with part-time work.
